The Electro-Optics Association (The Photonics Society of Chinese-Americans, Northern California Chapter) was founded in 1985 and is consists of people who are interested in technical fields such as electro-optics, optoelectronics, optical communication, flat panel display as well as anything that utilizes the light to make this world better. The Electro-Optics Association currently provides a monthly seminar that covers various topics which is interesting to its members. These seminars not only provide an in-depth technical overview for the topic of that month, they also provide a great way to meet and network with other professionals in the Bay Area. The monthly seminar is scheduled at the second Saturday of each month.
