Position: Engineering manager

General Photonics has an immediate opening for a position of Engineering Manager.  The successful candidate must have a MS or PhD degree in EE, physics, or optics and 2+ years industrial experience in the field of fiber optic instrumentation or communications. For this position, we need a person able to manage a team of engineers for instrument/device prototyping, device performance evaluation, automated testing setup (via LabView or other software), instrument calibration, and system integration. The successful candidate must have good communication skills and be responsible & able to independently carry out projects from start to finish. A good understanding of polarization control, signal monitoring and measurement, electronics design, and ISO-9000 practice is a plus.
